Actually there are lots of people who feel having legal exotic hunting is the best way to save endangered species as the money made from licensing can be spent on wildlife reserves

Even though I support legal and ethical hunting I could NEVER again shoot any animal unless I absolutely had to eat. I know it sounds hypocritical because I buy meat at the store but I could never kill a wild animal just for sport as I do not take pleasure in ending life. BTW, I was raised in a hunting family and we killed thousands of animals including pheasants, doves, deer, rabbits, gophers, groundhogs, fox, elk, etc. I was allowed to carry my own .22 rifle by the time I was 5 yrs old. I know it sounds crazy but this is still common among ranching familes.
Also, do you guys realize meat from exotic animals such as lions can be legally sold to restaurants in the USA and many other countries? Strange but true.
