I agree, but we're all really lost in terms of our knowledge of the things that religion is used to address. Thinking people just don't self-delude themselves. Frankly, I have no problem with a person being a Christian or a Muslim or believing in a personal God. In that sense, a personal religion or way of thinking about the world can motivate you to do good things and answer some of unanswered questions about life. My problem is when people use it to control others for a specific agenda. They seed the brains of innocent children with fairy tales and lies so they can control their behavior, and get the votes and money. That is quintessential evil.
