I spent 3 years at University drinking solidly, I came out with some kind of qualification that was meaningless.
I went out with a girl for a while who was in permanent academia. She was seriously of average intelligence, but just kept plodding along, getting higher and higher up the chain. Ended up with a PhD in Histrionics or some shiz. Unemployed the last I heard.
