people seem to agree with people when they are in a good mood, its human nature.. difficult for the affiliate to say NO to you in person, so he just says yes, and he never follows through...
the only guys i see making good deals are probably hosting companies like mojo, and maybe one or two top affiliate companies, the rest of the people: their bank accounts will be the same this year, with or without the show

You get contacts - and that's the most important. Perhaps you won't close the deals right after the show, but you can do your best and eventually start doing business with those people in a year or two. It's a long-term investment
