How about making better websites where the content is not so easy to steal!!!
Use Flash gallery viewers for your photos, and encrypt/obfuscate the flash files so that the resources cannot be extracted.
Use a streaming flash video server such as Red5 (that is free) or smartfoxserver (cheap server) so your videos cannot be so easily stolen.
Watermark your material, slice and dice it, check referring pages so nobody can hotlink your stuff too.
Use GEOIP to block countries where they only steal content but never buy.
It may not be possible to completely make the site theft proof, but you can make it so hard that the casual thief is going to give up. Remember, thief's are lazy people, they are simply looking for the easy pickings.
