i believe in a no regrets philosophy and why ruin a great (if thats what he has) thing over one lapse in judgement that could have been avoided..
a wise man once told me that if you hang a piece of meat on a fence and let your dog out unattended, ultimately it will eat the meat..
its not that the dog doesnt know right for wrong or wants to disappoint you, its just in the dogs nature...
now, if you keep your eye on that dog while its outside and correct it when it gets too close to the meat, does that mean you dont have control over your dog?
or that your dog doesnt love you?

LOL! Well ... I am going to have to still shy away from this discussion because for one, I don't compare my relationship to that of one with a dog ... and for another, I genuinely feel uncomfortable knowing some people don't trust their partners. I don't have that problem. I think trust is usually associated with insecurity. And it doesn't always have to have come from somewhere either.
Anyways, some interesting points for sure man
