Bottom line is that
if she cared about your feelings she wouldn't go to Mardis Gras with a group of guys when you can't go. She would wait till next year and go with you.
This whole "don't you trust me?" vibe they put off is just an evil way of throwing it back in your face and making you feel guilty, when the fact of the matter is a caring partner would not go on such a trip in the first place.
