I got teased about it at Webmaster Access West a few years ago and so I let them in and they broke an $80 bottle of parfume. Sure, not as bad as a $35k watch, but enough to reaffirm why it's just not a good idea. I mean, what do they really need to "clean" anyway. Most of the time they don't even change your sheets, they just make the bed, fluff your pillow and clean the glasses in the room with some windex and toilet paper

I do the same thing. I got it from my parents, though. If I can keep my room clean at home, why can't I keep a hotel room clean for 3 days? Make the bed, wipe the bathroom counter. Do I seriously need it vacuumed every day?
Just roll the dead bodies under the bed and they won't be noticed 'til after I check out ;)
