The Scott I met in person years ago (for first time in Prague?) is a totally different person from the one you see @GFY. I can judge a personality very fast and didn't take me more than few minutes to understand him. He is a polite, kind person IN PERSON. No ass-kissing, this is a fact and I'll be surprised to see someone disputing this. He did carry this "supreme tgp character" for quite a while, but for real this is/was a character thing. This is how I perceived it.
