What really pisses me off about Facebook posts are when people say something like this... "Misery and rain, the depths of sorrow fill my soul like an empty void. Nothing can heal the pain." and the comments follow like this:

"I'm so sorry... let me know if you need anything! I'm here for you!"

and

"Such a terrible loss. I'm shocked."

I mean... what the fuck, it's like we're playing Charades or something! Am I supposed to guess what's going on, by reading between the lines? Am I supposed to say "Listen, I don't know what the FUCK you're talking about, but can you just spill the beans without sounding all philosophical and mysterious?"

Here's another example: "I'm so god damn pissed off!! OMG I can't fucking believe it!!"

And the responses:

"Oh girl, don't let it get to you... I'd be pissed off too if that happened to me!"

and

"Jeezz... I can't believe it. Best of luck!"

If they're not willing to shed some light on whatever the hell they're trying to talk about, I don't see any point in actually making it public... it's like they're just trying to be major attention whores. Facebook is the land of the attention whore.

If I were to try and make such an ambiguous post, I'd either get A: No response or B: A bunch of comments that say "What the fuck happened?" What I don't get is why there's such a huge double-standard. Chicks can speak in riddle, and I can't get away with it. Why is that?
