If your close enough to your car, one of the best antitheft devices is a baby monitor. I know it sounds odd, but having one wired in and hidden, you hear everything. Unless you live on a real busy street, or unless someone with a baby lives close and don't over run the one in your car, you would be surprised how you will wake up at the sound of beaking glass. I know sounds kind of ghetto, or redneck, but when it comes to either loosing your crap or spending 40 bucks and doing a little bit of work. It doesn't matter what kind of anti theft device you have. No thief ever thinks of a baby monitor inside a car so that you can hear whats going on in your car.
