just to work with a system because it's cool? because you can trust me with this - after working with both for 20 years - none of them is better. just different. for every point you tell me that is better with Mac i show you something thats better with Windows. thats like discussing if being catholic or protestant is better - and you know where that ends.

I'm a new MAC owner and I hate to say it, as I do enjoy the sleek MAC side, it's great for dicking around and looking pretty, but I had in install Bootcamp and put Windows on it in order to be productive.
Why?
Because my work flow in Windows is fast and I know what works. Having to learn MAC software for video is just not worth it for me at this point. Maybe later when I have nothing to do and have time to kill, I'll give it another chance, but right now, I have work to do and have to be efficient. MAC was slowing me down due to the learning curve on every piece of software I installed.
With that said, my MAC runs Windows better than any of my PC's ever did. I'll also note that MACS "Time Machine" is totally bad ass, as is "Spaces" and the new track pad. The amount of fingers I move on it will determine what it does. That's pretty cool. But again, I'm doing my work on the PC side.
