I told him his first draft didnt look anything like samples in his portfolio. Nothing like the 3 or 4 samples I sent him. It made me wonder if they were outsourced... We played tag for a bit, then I told him I couldnt present his work to my client (it was that bad). I asked for a refund. I was refunded the total minus $45.
It worked out well though. I found a better company which made a fantastic logo which is now flying on a fleet of trucks and an office building.
