We're so screwed. :(

I know that pretty much all of you folks here don't really know me, so I will completely understand if no one can help but it's worth a try. My wife and I have been struggling for the past few months to keep our house. We used to have a decent job that paid well, but it ended in March 2009 due to the company's boneheaded decisions (they lost contracts with companies down here in PR due to their refusal to adapt to the hispanic market). Since then, we have had problems finding work, but somehow always managed to pull it off. Well, we're now about 2 1/2 months behind on our rent, and the owner of our house called earlier tonight and told me that if we don't come up with the rent by tomorrow then he is going to take us to court. My wife recently found employment with the federal government, but payroll takes awhile to start for new employees so she won't see a paycheck until well into February. I'm disabled so my ability to work is limited and that's why I've been working on my new blog and planning for a video sales site. Of course, lack of money has hindered that plan as well. When I manage to get it running, it WILL be very successful, as I already have a pretty big line of people waiting for it to open. But in the meantime...if we don't come up with almost $3000 by tomorrow evening, we're gonna be homeless. So I'm wondering if there is anyone at all here that would be able to loan us some money to prevent us from losing our home. We literally have nowhere to go if we lose it, and though sure, eviction takes awhile, but once you start down the eviction path, it creates that unrecoverable rift between tenant and landlord. Can anyone help us? I really hate to beg but we're literally out of options here.
