I've been married 12 years, been with her in a relationship before that for 7, and like anything else done in life, there are ups and downs, but we are very happy and far from poor.
I wonder what a lot of these people will think about marriage in their old age when family isn't visiting them because they're all dead, they have no kids or grand kids to take care of them and they are sitting in a chair in some shitty retirement home waiting for death to come.
