If no to all of the above, I would leave him alone. If yes, then have a talk with him about responsibility. If it was his free time and that was how he chose to use it, I don't see a problem with it. Make it an opportunity to reach out to your son, not an opportunity to ridicule his decision and make him feel like an outcast.
