My tip: is your son going out from time to time or is he every weekend behind the pc? If he isnt going out, you should suggest that. I didn't see halfpint say the kid spends night and day every day in there, he said that the kid pulled 1 24 hour stint.

If he is still doing other things, and still going to work/school and handling his responsiblities. My opinion is to leave him alone. It sounds like halfpint already talked to him, and I think that is a good thing.
