i stand corrected, there's one correct fact- the overall budget number. but to cast in a light of the obama white house going willy nilly with the census bureau budget is disinformation.
that train has been chugging since the last census. just like the original thread topic- the op wasn't aware that the last census, 10 years ago, the bureau also advertised during the super bowl.
look, not sure why there's an attempt to argue with me here, i know government spending is out of control, i've already commented on that.
but to try and pied piper a group of GFYers re: reallocating census bureau ad dollars to giving away houses to the homeless is a poor & ironic choice of line items to nitpick.
and then to add that the census is yet another government tool to rope in americans makes it all laughable.
