HD, if they all can keep from giving all of the super high quality shit away, will be the next big deal. Like B&W versus color. In my eyes, the future will be all of the content free with an option to purchase high quality versions of it. Especially if they ever get that 3D coating right.

The tour will be all of their videos. The monthly membership model is also going to die. They pay $20-$50/mo for a broadband connection they think entitles them to the whole internet. You want them to pay $30/mo for YOUR site? Especially with 1M others out there looking just like it? Really? Why? Better be a god damned miracle, some of the most niched niches out there STILL have competitors, $30 for your site.. a commitment.. Why? No, they won't, not for much longer they won't. If they WILL, someone already ripped your shit off, anyway.... YOU won't adapt, they'll STEAL it anyway

The future is all whatever ends up being the STANDARD for quality and LIVE SHIT. Sell the STANDARD, sell something REAL, sell something people NEED, or sell a DREAM. Not this membership model from 1922. Comparing it to houses and cars being given away is pretty stupid.

You give away a car, it's gone. You let them test drive a car, right, you let them see the house before buying, right?? They can walk all through it, inspect it, physically be there. They want to LIVE there they PAY.

Maybe we'll find a way to give it away without letting them share it amongst themselves and put it all over the web.. Probably not.. but if you could, do you not see it as a viable option, letting them see the content and SELLING the premium shit? Alot of businesses make money from 1% ONE PERCENT of the people they service and are WILDLY profitable!

But then, as much as I hate govt regs, well, if they DID come in and do that... would things get EASIER for content producers, program owners and affiliates?

Sure, any tom dick or sloppy couldn't log on day one and throw web pages and sites up. But anyone SERIOUS about the business would still be fine.

What if mainstream advertisers some time in the next decade soften up and stop caring if their ads are on adult sites? What if it becomes more socially acceptable? Hmmm... maybe then the content with the BIGGEST TRAFFIC DRIVING FORCE IN THE HISTORY OF MAN will really be WORTH SOMETHING instead of some stupid $30... you think?? How much longer can they all ignore the power of it.... you don't think a million big companies would LOVE to be able to benefit from the traffic we can drive??

I'm done rambling now but the point I am making is, no one knows what the future will hold. What I can tell you for SURE is that five years from now it will NOT be the ones who held on for dear life to this stupid old business model who are still standing. It will not be about hustling $30 memberships.
