So called "long-term prevention" is highly overrated. I can control my heartburn as I need to and eat what I choose. That's all that matters.

its too bad that severe heartburn does actual physical damage. you shouldn't let 'food stereotypes' have such an impact on your health. it doesn't mean you can't eat what you enjoy as well.
