It doesn't necessarily impact you negatively. However, there's only a positive impact when you are surrounded by hundreds people your age in the same situation.

I never said college was for everyone.
but that is still to broad of a statement it still boils down to an individual. people have negative and positive experience in life whether in or not in college. so is life.

you were hammering on my point about me being 15 and knowing what i wanted to do with my career. this wasnt to brag. while some kids wanted to grow up and win an MLB championship or become a doctor i wanted to become successful at business. it became my hobby.

in high school i never cared for it and in my computer class i got 99%. i was always very good with computers. and so i took that and ran with it. i could have been lazy and blamed society because i did not enjoy school. but i did not, i just took a different path.

i have the same friends since i was very young, honestly to many to the point where i feel like i need some air and do get away. i date hot women and the generally enjoy my edge and different perspective. (this is in response to being socially inadequate for working on computers)

and you would be surprised at how many people with degrees talk to me like i am crazy or do not have the same knowledge as them. when in reality i can maintain a conversation no matter what the topic..
