I've used public busses in 8+ cities and never once had a driver stop for anything other than a scheduled bus stop/pickup.
OK, I lied. One time a bus driver in Austin TX had to stop because she was sick. Another driver arrived in a cab about 3 minutes later and we kept going.
Do bus drivers in Vancouver just pull over when they feel like having a Starbucks?
