hey mon
i got a new midi keyboard for christmas axiom 25 ,its preconfigured for reason 3 so i was making music in 5 mins... has drum pads and the works.
That's a good one, or any of the Axiom from the M-Audio line. It's nice to have buttons and faders. Buttons for triggering loops, or turing effects on/off, and faders for controlling particular effect parameters and mixing levels.
Have you checked out Ableton Live? It's a really nice program to interact and trigger loops (audio & midi) on the fly. It' pretty rad and it works well with Reason.
i have the technics with proper weighted keys.. it was about $3k when we bought it 8 years ago.. i think its like under a grand now. comes with a stand w/ real medal petals, etc.
