This is a grown-up world and if she cannot handle what is being thrown at her then she should not be in the job. Being a sales agent is being on the front line and every person that is in sales -- this industry or in selling Toyotas or home electronics -- knows that the salesperson is the first person to get the wrath of an angry customer.
What really sucks is when a salesperson has to deal with angry customers and has no backing from the company. THAT is what is unfair to a salesperson -- taking crap and the people that write the paycheck don't have her back.
Don't try fend off very legitimate complaints by blaming the angry customer for picking on the salesperson. Deal with those complaints head on and give your customers answers.
