Get ready folks. That movie with Tom Cruise "Minority Report" is starting to happen before our very eyes. Words, thoughts, and intentions are now "crimes" You don't even have to do anything bad. Just THINK it or imply it. This isn't the country I grew up in. Sounds more like the "bad" countries we were taught about in elementary school (Nazis, Soviet Union, China is what we were told back then)

Robbie - Please remind me of the other processor, I think that I saw it in one of your other posts anyways. That said, if Visa and Mastercard are using a crawl app that finds words like 'force' and puts a freeze on anything with this content, well, I would have to guesstimate that a substantial number of mainstream sites are going to be affected as well. If it reads connotation, that might be a different story. Without question, the implementation of such an app would be 'sketchy from the outset, to say the least. BUT, you know as well as I do --- Visa and MasterCard are interested in money. This app was aimed at predators and purveyors of obscene and illegal content and I hope that it smashes access to a lot of the shit that is on the internet today. However, both of these companies will address concerns from sites/processors and they will not allow their bottom line to fall because of mistakes in their program's ability to distinguish legal from illegal (though this MAY take some time).
My beef with GTBill is more about their handling of this issue and the fact that they seems to be heavily affected by this new implementation. Page 1 was was C-Luv complimenting pictures of another member here instead of addressing the issue presented. Page 2 was Scott defending C-Luv and blaming the readership for being too harsh and their mentioning that they were at XBiz LA (hence why they weren't answering posts, even in the middle of what I would consider a 'crisis' for their company and clients). And, Page 3... well, we'll see what kind of 'train wreck' we get here.
CCBill, EPOCH, and even fucking Zombaio (whom everyone hates for some reason) all process with MasterCard, Visa, etc... and, I process with them every single day (WITH NO ISSUES). SO, it is either case that (1) GTBill has a lot of clients with a high-level of illegal and obscene content and Visa is 'cracking down' on them or (2)
they are mismanaging, or taking advantage of (at the expense of their clients, this would be a good 'out' for anyone looking to 'skip town'),
this entire instance. Ok, ok... I am being a bit of conspiracy theorist with (1) and the second half of (2) but their lack of concise communication (and, somewhat nonchalance) about this whole issue draws my ire and further suspicions about what is 'really' going on.
