some parts i've enjoyed - i really feel bad that it's not a snowy setting - Winter Olympics should be held in smaller cities where snow is on the ground - like Lake Placid, Squaw Valley, Lillihammer, Calgary etc Vancouver is too big a city for a Winter Olympics in my opinion - it takes away from the charm the Winter Olympics have always had.

I agree but the problem lays with the logistics involved in hosting the games now, the smaller settings are not going to build a stadium that holds 60k+ people for opening and closing ceremonies. Especially since those facilities will probably never be used for anything else after the game are over
