I don't think that's a chop, I think it's someone who's born "intersex". I guess it's unkosher to use the term hermaphrodite anymore, and the term intersex covers a broader group of people- from those who are born with two sets of sex organs to people like caster semenya, the african runner, who is all female on the outside, but on the inside has male sex organs.
I just saw 2 different documentaries about this around a month ago and was pretty facinated. What they say is being born intersex is just as common as being born with red hair. Wild. I have a hard time buying it, but I do know it's not nearly as uncommon as we think.
