One way of putting it into perspective is the the thought that children should NEVER be left un-attended when operating a computer connected to the Internet.
Todays computers have immense capabilities, whould you hand a child a gun without him/her being able to distinguish what it is or capable of? I think not and a PC is really no different considering information on the net.
A PC is not a Baby sitter.
I think thats common sense these days but maybe not.
