Yep.
Plenty of talk about it at conferences, and in the trades. Always amazes me how a lot of the board banter is never keeping up on these things. Not to say people have not read about them, but there are few good serious business discussions about these things that will benefit us all.
On the boards, it is almost like they run 6-12 months behind. Maybe that is good, bad, or a product of who's left chatting on them. I dunno, and do not mean it as a negative swipe at anyone.
My point is that there is a lot of shit coming down the pipe, and few really discussing it. I feel some of these changes are a bigger threat then the tube bullshit that we read about daily. The change in traffic. The change in technology. Among other things.
I know that merchant processing changes + the economy and effect on consumer credit have directly influenced my bottom line more than stolen content in the past 12-18 months. Yet it is always tubes.
But I digress....
