I had it done in 2005. My eyes hurt like hell for 6 hours (where you have to do the drops every 30 or 60 minutes, I can't remember what it was). Then I slept for 10 hours straight (until the next morning), walked to the window and opened the drapes, and looked out over the city. I will never forget that moment, since I had worn glasses and contacts since I was 5 (meaning 20 fucking years). I could see EVERYTHING! Absolutely amazing that such an easy surgery can be such a game changer for someone. My visions is 'better than perfect' and I don't have the problems with glare that everyone talks about.
