It's not a flaw, Sly, it's how DirectAdmin chooses to handle it for numerous reasons. You may not like it, but it is by design. As to adding domains, yes, we have automated this ourselves, you only need to contact us to add domains if you don't feel comfortable typing it in and clicking the submit link through the control panel or maybe it isn't easy for you to do at the moment. It then gets auto-submitted into our DNS and is added on the next cron run.
Don't blame DA to justify having to email our techs, admit it, you just love to email them and have them do stuff for you.
