I'm going to elaborate some...why this is not a good idea.
there are shitloads of good program owners, content shooters, programmers, etc etc
that simply can not afford to advertise here.
yet many of these people contribute and answer questions and are a part of the community and make it better
why should they continue to do that?
nobody reads the other forums, this is the forum
Furthermore
Now the only spam we will see will be paid for spam from big programs, not much variety there IMO
I think this new rule will be counterproductive.
And the reason you did this is because your paid advertisers bitched that there was too much spam?

I think there is too many bullshit retarded posts as compared to spam or program announcements.
