If everyone in the biz could stick to their guns on this, and not buy .xxx directly or through domainers, it would still be okay. It would prove the worthlessness of the extension.
Of course this is the same industry that couldn't stand together against piracy, tubes, cross sales, etc. - so I guess this will be just another way to screw ourselves, and work against our own best interests.
