vps.net is fully scalable, you can even rent extra bandwidth/RAM/CPU per day on top of your regular package. Requires some monitoring though, or that you know/can plan ahead for traffic spurts.
Not that I want to steer you away from baddog, just throwing it out there, that it's very scalable as long as you closely monitor or can plan your requirements.
