Agreed to some degree.
I guess it depends on the 'concept'. If it is something they can easily bridge the concept, like a tube pay site, or like a cms that runs like this site example but... Then you stand a decent chance. However, the bigger the price tag the worse chance you have.
In this economy, and this state of industry, big ticket items in general are a tough sell. You are going to have to market your ideas over and over. Work out the presentation. It may take you 4-6 months to close if then.
As I said in my last post, it depends on a lot of factors. Too many too name, and not easy to sum up in a post, or few paragraphs. The 'concept' sites I sell are easy for people to see with no content or domain name. But I have also trial and error'ed the idea a lot of time, or at least part of it, to help sell the idea.
