How can you get more simple that wordpress. "upload media / point to file / Publish"
I honestly do not see how you can remove any steps from that. It's more simple than you.
Unless you want a MAGIC CMS that you just sit in your pants eating wotsits, do NOTHING and it makes your site for you?
