I still think that China (and even Russia to an extent), with their extensive network of spies within the US, would have jumped at the chance to call our government on atrocities committed against its own people. The US has a long history of pointing a holier-than-thou finger at China and Russia for their alleged human rights violations. If there were any shred of truth to the US govt being behind the 9/11 attacks, those two countries would be the first to know about it and also the first ones to call us out on it.
