Okay that covers what you think will happen. I'm also interested in hearing your opinion on what you think
should happen. When an underage girl is caught with fake ID in a bar the bar throws her out. As in there are consequences.
In cases like this I think there very much should be consequences for her actions. "She forgot she was 18"?? (like someone said)... OH Please. No 17 yr old forgets they aren't 18, and since when is that a solid legal defense? The "I forgot" excuse works now? Cool, I'll have to remember that. :D
I just wonder if letting such kids off the hook when they willfully and knowingly pull something like creating/using fake ID to engage in porn is a good idea. Does it not set a very bad precendent? Kids are innocent no matter what they do? Sorry, no sale. Kids get prosecuted for all sorts of bad behaviour. 17 yr olds are often prosecuted as adults in fact. Is it ridiculous to prosecute kids for engaging in, producing, or distributing porn? Or is it more ridiculous not to?
I'd like to say I live in a world where no one gets a free pass, everyone is responsible for their actions, even teenagers.
