I spoke to a US attorney Lawrence G Walters at the Amsterdam show. He said the 2257 law will be tightened now that the Attorney General has been asked to show how many times they have used it.

That's good for the US govt because right now we all have the defense that the govt has declined almost all offers to provide guidelines and defintions. This will make it hard for them to prosecute past "offenses." AND, knowing what the standards are henceforth, it will be easier to comply.
