actaully slow rythmic breathing should get it back on track.. the reason for hiccups in not so scientific terms is.. your diaphragm and another part of your body (not sure what part) always go in sync with one another when breathing.. when this (for whatever reason) is disrupted the diaphragm is not in sync anymore and is literally hitting the other body part .(why they hurt sometimes)...now off to watch some more discovery channel..lol
