I've been browsing listings at Flippa.com and it looks like a great place to buy established mainstream websites.

Anybody have any good or bad experiences? Or tips? My main concern is getting ripped off as a buyer.

They do have a feedback system similar to ebay - but alot of the sellers don't have much of a history with selling websites. Much of their "trust" ratings can be achieved by doing non-monetary things like linking a facebook account, linkedin account, phone confirmation, etc.

Any other recommendations on safe places/methods to buy mainstreams sites is appreciated.
