I remember when they came to Indy and there was some sort of controversy that ruined it.
I talked to another photographer while at the Rolex 24 and his thing was F1 and he got me interested in it. He said the best chance for me to see a race was probably going to be Montreal if they still race there. That's out of my reach for now.
It's too bad F1 can't get a foothold in such a huge market like the US. I can't imagine the cost involved for the teams and the series to come over to race in the US. It would be such a huge hill to climb for them and it seems like they don't have the leadership to do it even if they wanted to. When it comes to brilliant marketing you have to give the nod to NASCAR.
