I don't know the F1 schedule and venues and whether they have to travel overseas to race. I'm guessing they spend most of their time in Europe and Asia where you can drive through four or five countries in a day.
A lot of the races are in Europe and Asia but there's still a lot of flying about even between some that you could theoretically drive to.

When Canada and US have both been on the calendar in the previous 3-4 years at least, they have been on consecutive weekends as far as I can remember.
