I need contest ideas.

The photographer for my website was kind enough to donate a shitload of Nintendo Ds game systems, Xbox games/accessories, and a bunch of other cool crap to give away as prizes on my site - I just need to think of the best way to do it! Obviously if I'm going to be giving away prizes on my site I either want them to a) up the content on my site or b) help increase membership. Has anybody done this kind of thing before?

My site is an alt-porn site focused on gamers/anime fans/nerds in general, and it focuses really heavily on community and stuff like that. I had a few ideas but don't know how easy any of them would be to implement:

1. Referral contest - Whoever could get the most number of people registered on the site. The forums don't have any way to track this, so it would have to go down where members who sign up would post in a thread saying who referred them and I would check the IP to make sure they aren't the same person. This would be beneficial because you wouldn't need to get anyone to actually sign up to the paid portion of the site

OR

People participating through sign up for affiliate/referral membership through our payment provider, Zombaio.

2. "Scavenger hunt" advertising. We offer flyers for you to print out, and you post them around various places that we have off a list (ie game store, book store, etc) and take a photo posing with it. Or possibly work it so whoever wins "most creative advertising of Pixel Vixens" would win.

3. User submitted photo sets. We could start a fan submitted content portion of the site, with each set being entered to win a prize. (I know this would be a pain in the ass because I would have to get both releases and 2257 forms from everyone who enters)

Anyone else have any other good ideas, or have any experience actually doing contests like this?
