I would have considered this option, since all I had to do was let go of the screwdriver and it would have flaled 7m to the ground and smashed.
However, with the missus at the bottom of the ladder holding it steady, it would have meant certain large power tool on head scenario for here, and well, a sore finger is faaaaaar better than the outcome of that, believe me.
