The one package deal I never understood was the death penalty/abortion relationship from either political party. I sort of understand it from the Republican side because if you keep unwanted babies alive you'll have more criminals to kill one day and you can keep the extermination racket going. I'm still trying to figure out the democrats perspective on it all...
