There are ways you can still help people even when you don't work for a company anymore.
I still am on good terms with all the past domains / companies I've worked with. Sometimes things happen where a ball will get dropped or something will get lost in the sauce or an issue may arise. People will hit me up by phone or ICQ and ask me to lend a hand so I'll reach out to the company on their behalf and try to help get things going again or act as a mediating party.
I can't always get the job done, but it's something I'm more than happy to do. It's mutually beneficial for all parties involved. I totally know what C-Luv is trying to say.
Good luck to you, C-Luv. Congrats on striking out under your own flag.
