To my knowledge and what I myself looked into when I acquired the name a few years ago, Hostgator does not object to using their name in a domain that's intended to promote their services. This was inquired about to HG and confirmed. Many review and coupon sites out there have HG in their domain ... some hosted ON HG. However, with any TM name, it's always best to look into it since many companies do not allow using their TM.
