I have ALWAYS looked for whoever that person was after getting back into the industry. He helped me out a great deal back then when I was young and had little to no knowledge.
I had some dealings with ASM as well, just never put two and two together that that might be him.
Either way I am very bummed to hear of the news...very sad. Rest in peace David.
