In my opinion the repubs are fucking up so bad, they are giving the public no alternative to dems. I really feel the current right wing leadership is a disaster & is driving the acsension of the tea party as grass roots republicans are disenchanted with the current GOP.

Oh, I didn't know you were a fan of drudgereport, awesome. And the government does control many of the economic aspects right now, more than ever I believe. Why else is the stock market at 10,700+ when the economy is in shit?
Honestly, I don't think there is any real alternative at this point, because we need to reduce our debts and deficits before we can have any real health care reform, and I think that's what the right wing has been trying to state.
Also, I don't understand where you see the REpublicans fucking up bad. If anyone is fucking up bad, it's the Dems. They're on pace to lose their majorities in November due to their fuckups, and THEIR leadership is a disaster. The Republicans are surging right now and while they're not doing everything right, I think they're doing just enough to make people grow weary of the Democratic leadership after only 1 year.
